Probability Sports, Inc. ("PSI") is firmly commited to safeguarding your privacy. This statement describes the information gathering and dissemination practices for the following ProbabilitySports® contests: ProbabilityFootball®, ProbabilityBaseballSM, ProbabilityBasketballSM, ProbabilityHockeySM, and ProbabilitySoccerSM.
I.P. Address Logged
PSI may use your I.P. (Internet Protocol) address in order to analyze trends, administer the websites, gather broad demographic information, and to help diagnose and maintain our servers and websites. I.P. addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.
The following contact/eligibility information is collected from each player:
- Physical Street Address
- Email Address
Only a player's name and city of residence may be displayed on the websites and on lists of winners in conjunction with that player's scores, previous game picks, and prizes won. Besides the specific website and winners-list uses mentioned above, any contact information may be used only for the following purposes:
- To verify eligibility of players to enter the contest;
- To verify eligibility of and to notify winners;
- To notify players of current contest news, announcements, and information;
- To correspond with players having questions, comments, registration problems, or possible eligibility problems;
- To notify players of the status of other ProbabilitySports® contests; and
- To send promotional material or offers from our partners, advertisers, and sponsors.
Each email correspondence from PSI that contains contest news, announcements, information, or promotional material shall include instructions on how to prevent receiving further email correspondence of that type from PSI. Doing so shall not reduce a player's chances of winning any PSI contest.
Player contact information may be maintained indefinitely on PSI's databases. However, a player shall no longer be contacted by PSI after one year past the conclusion of the last contest in which that player participated.
No player contact information shall be disseminated to any third party.
A player's contest user name may be shown in conjunction with messages given on the website message boards, or in conjunction with comments send to PSI via email. Neither a player's name or city shall be used in conjunction with either message board or email comments without permission from that player.
At the time of registration, PSI may request the user name of the player who referred a registering player to the contest. This information will be used only to credit the referring player with any bonuses (e.g. Referral Points) related to the referral. No referral information shall be disseminated to any third party.
Refer a Friend
If a user elects to use the PSI referral service for informing a friend about one of our contests, PSI will ask the referring player for the friend's name and email address. PSI will automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting them to visit the website and enter the contest. PSI shall use and record this information only for the purposes of sending the one-time email and of crediting the referring player with bonuses as mentioned above. The referred friend may contact PSI here to request removal of this information from our database.
PSI is pledged to take all reasonable measures in order to protect the loss, misuse, and/or alteration of all information under our control. If you have any questions or comments about the security of our websites, please contact us here.
